Lotusphere Comes To You
Wow, what a week we had. In my personal opinion this was the busiest Lotusphere ever. I had planned to blog quite a bit but I just didn't find the time to. Live-blogging always distracts a bit and I didn't want to miss the sessions I was in because of that.
I think, Lotusphere 2008 again was fantastic, many new announcements, many of them I will need to analyze further to actually understand what's behind the new names. IBM once again made it clear that Notes and Domino is a very strategic product and is here to stay.
Domino Designer 8.5 on Eclipse is great, I can't wait to get my hands on it. The improvements planned for web development are great, I think Bob is doing his job very well. Lotus Domino may actually become a kick-ass web development platform.
As in the last five years we will again be hosting a 
Lotusphere Comes To You event in Sulzbach near Frankfurt (presentations will be in German, btw.). In this one-day event we will present what's hot & new to get everybody up to speed who didn't make it to Orlando.
