Rocky Oliver organized the Thawte Web of Trust Signing Party at Lotusphere (thanks Rocky!). It was a great opportunity to meet up with some other people interested to create a community of trusted web users.

"The Thawte Web of Trust is a global attempt to assure Internet user identities through personal verification of national identity documents." That summarizes very much what the Thawte Web of Trust is. We took the chance to become Web of Trust Notaries at the Thawte Web of Trust Signing Party.

Funnily enough the majority of the people who showed up at Swan's Eagle boardroom on January 25 were Germans. But as Rocky mentioned in his session "Visit the Formula Bog Top" the second most hits to his blog are from Germany.
