7.30 am. I'm checking my emails. I received an invitation and the inbox show's me, that it's size is 7 MB. Wow, what might be in there? 2 lines of invitation text for a technical meeting and an attachment. The titel of the attachmant is exactly like the subject of the original message plus a .msg extention. And yes, this attachment's size is 7 MB. OK, what's in there? The same 2 lines of text and another attachment named agenda.ppt. And you guess right, this attachment's size is 7 MB.
This ppt agenda contains 2 slides. The first one with the title "Agenda" and the second one with 11 topics. Text only. OK, on every slide is also the logo from the company.
But hey, I don't need a 7 MB ppt with 11 lines of text for a meeting invition. Just write those topics down in the email itself and don't pollute the inbox of a bunch of people with that crap. Know your tools!
Update:Things are getting worse. Two reschedules later, this invition is now 3 times 7 MB. And by the way: the limit of this mailbox is 50 MB - so 4 reschudles left...
